(a)  Panorama Security Services PTY LTD will, from time to time, receive and store personal information you enter onto our website, provided to us directly or given to us in other forms.

The types of personal information we collect about you depends on which of our products and services you use, how you use those products and services, and our relationship with you.

  • Information we need to verify you, provide you with our products and services and communicate to you about them such as:

    • Proof of identity (including your driver’s licence, passport number or government issued ID where applicable), which may be processed by a third-party service provider that handles identity verification and fraud detection for us;

    • Financial information (such as credit card or bank account numbers), which may be processed by a third-party service provider that handles payments for us;

    • Panorama Security PIN or Voice code;

    • Occupation, professional skills and experience;

    • digital personal information including profile images or video, documents and images relating to projects or jobs;

    • additional personal information that you provide to us directly or indirectly through your use of our self-service online portals, associated applications, or accounts from which you permit us to collect information;

    • any other information requested by us and/or provided by you.

    (b) You might also need to provide personal information about other individuals to us, such as your power of attorney, and/or authorised representatives. We rely on you to tell those individuals that you are giving us their personal information and tell them about this Privacy Policy.

    (c) We may also collect biometric information like your fingerprints, voice patterns, face and facial imprint if you consent to this, which may be processed by a third-party service provider that handles identity verification and fraud detection for us

(b)   We collect it automatically when you use our products and services, including our calling our Security Operations Centre (SOC) (including our third-party contractors) and online services. (c)   We obtain it from other sources like regulators, public information (including public posts to social networking sites), and commercially available personal, identity, geographic and demographic information sources. We may also collect information about you from our related entities, business and commercial partners and our service providers (like identity and fraud-checking services).

Depending on the Panorama Security products and services you use, we may also collect your personal information from other participants in the security industry (such as our wholesale and other customers).

4. How do we store your personal information?

(a) We may store your information in hard copy or electronic format and keep it in storage facilities that we own and operate ourselves or that are owned and operated by our service providers, who may at any point be acting as a data controller, data processor or both.

(b) We use a combination of technical solutions, security controls and internal processes to help us protect your information and our network from unauthorised access and disclosure. 

(c) We aim to ensure that personal information is kept as current as possible and that irrelevant or excessive data is deleted or made anonymous as soon as reasonably possible.   • Contract administration - to fulfil the contract between you and us and to ensure that we receive payment of the fees due under the contract.

  • Improvement - for analytics, market research and business development including to operate and improve our products and services and any associated applications or websites and improve the services and develop new service features. We may also combine information we hold about you with information from one of our partners’ services to improve our credit assessment and debt recovery processes.

  • Direct marketing - for advertising and marketing, including sending you promotional information about our products and services and information and about third parties that we consider may be of interest to you and to run competitions or offer additional benefits to you

6. When do we share your information?

We may disclose information to:

  • Your power of attorney, and or authorised representatives;

  • Other parties when you ask us to do so or when you consent to that disclosure;

From time to time, these parties may reside outside Australia. You acknowledge and consent that, by agreeing to the disclosure of information to these entities outside of Australia, we will no longer be required to take reasonable steps to ensure the overseas recipient's compliance with the Australian privacy law in relation to personal information and we will not be liable to you for any breach of the Australian privacy law by these overseas recipients.

We use Stripe for identity document verification & payment processing. Stripe uses and stores the financial information (such as credit card or bank account numbers we’ve collected, identity document images, facial images, ID numbers and addresses as well as advanced fraud signals and information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe shares this information with us and also uses this information to process your payment as well as operate and improve the services it provides, including for fraud detection. You may also choose to allow Stripe to use your data to improve Stripe’s biometric verification technology. You can learn more about Stripe and read its privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Stripe retains a copy of all the data provided as part of a verification pr payment processing transaction. You may also have consented to allow Stripe to use your data to improve their technology. You can delete your information from Stripe’s servers or revoke your consent by visiting https://support.stripe.com.

We use PayAdvantage for payment processing. PayAdvantage uses and stores financial information (such as credit card or bank account numbers, as well as advanced fraud signals and information about the devices that connect to its services. PayAdvantage shares this information with us and also uses this information to process your payment as well as operate and improve the services it provides, including for fraud detection. (a)  We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Personal information is only supplied to a third party when it is required for the delivery of our services.

(b)  We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property or safety of Panorama Security Services PTY LTD, panoramasecurity.com.au, its customers or third parties.

(c)   If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer to the extent permissible at law our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.

Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this  Policy regarding handling your personal information.

(a)  Panorama Security Services PTY LTD is committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

(b)  The transmission and exchange of information is carried out at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
